Rafting is an adventure, full of adrenaline and fun, in which Chile stands out for its rushing, spectacular rivers

Cascada de las Animas offers several programs in the Maipo river, water course classified in Class 4 between November and February (during the snowmelt) and Class 3 the rest of the year, according to the international scale that applies to this activity (going from I to VI). This is a great opportunity, because, due to its proximity to Santiago, it is easy to access for any type of visitor.

The Maipo is born as a small stream mountain range on the east slope of the volcano that gives it its name, but it quickly turns into a great torrent as it descends in your career in the direction of the sea. When you pass by the Cascading Animas river, has an elevation of 1,100 mts. on the level of the sea and down among the large rocks that give way to obstacles that are transformed into an important challenge for sailors. It is precisely in those places where we find the rapids more demanding.

Any person is welcome to live this experience; in fact, more than 70% of our customers do rafting for the first time with us. To ensure that everybody will enjoy a great trip, we care to count rafts and equipment of last generation, as well as guides are highly-trained and experienced, who will oversee their safety and will be attentive to your needs.
