Rafting – High Section Río Maipo

The trip starts at our facilities in Cascada de las Animas, where you will receive your rafting equipment (wetsuit, life jacket and helmet) and the guide will explain some maneuvering and safety instructions.

Then we are ready to start an exciting descent! We will raft about 16 kilometers downstream for about an hour, passing between narrow stone canyons, sandy beaches, large rocks, cultivated land and mountain ranges.

Once we arrive at the town of San José, a vehicle will transport us back to Cascada de las Animas, where hot showers will be available.

For people who decide to spend the rest of the day in our Sanctuary, we offer ample and shady picnic areas with tables, a barbecue area and natural spring water plus various further facilities.
