Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival, Wine Tasting & Spa Evening

We will pick you up in Santiago and start driving out of the city towards San Alfonso, a small village located in Maipo Valley. As we drive deeper into the valley you will enjoy first views of the magnificent Andean mountain range and the beautiful Maipo River. This area is Chile’s oldest and most famous wine growing area and you will visit one of its famous wineries to learn about Chilean wine-making tradition, about the growth and development of the grape vines and of course have the opportunity to savour some wine.

Taste some local food during lunch at a local restaurant, before continuing to Cascada de las Animas. Upon arrival at you´ll be welcomed by your guide who shows you your beautiful bungalow and the Cascada de las Animas complex.

Finish the day with a tasty dinner, another glass of good Chilean wine and some relaxation and massage at Cascada de las Animas´s Spa before you return to the comfort of your suite.

Day 2: Baños Colina Hot Springs

Today we will take you deeper in the Andes Mountains and discover a spectacular hidden secrets of the Maipo Valley:  Colina Hot Springs, located at an altitude of 2.500 meters. Soak in the steaming water of different temperatures at the cliffside thermal pools and admiring the stunning beauty of the surrounding peaks of the Andes mountains while enjoying a relaxing and therapeutic bath.

You will have time to walk around in the surroundings of the pools and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch before returning to Cascada de las Animas.
In the evening celebrate your experiences of the last days with another tasty dinner.

Day 3: Trekking & Departure

After a delicious breakfast get ready for the ‘Meseta Trek’.  On this trek we enter the mountain range passing by beautiful waterfalls and, with a bit of luck, witnessing the majestic flight of the condors, until we reach a small plateau. There you will have the opportunity to see the work of our reforestation projects where we have planted hundreds of native trees. Then we will go to the Manzanito ravine, where we will stop to rest, with a beautiful view of the Maipo Valley and the neighboring mountain ranges in front of us. From there we will return by a path that borders the plateau, back to the starting point.

Back from your morning walk you´ll enjoy lunch at our restaurant before you´ll be driven back to Santiago to fly home or continue your journey in Chile.
